Meet Laurel
Laurel is a first generation Cuban American and the owner and lead planner at One Foxy Affair! She is a trial attorney turned wedding planner who started her business after the birth of her daughter when she realized that firm life did not give her as much time with her family as she liked.
Laurel’s type A personality and attention to detail has served her well in her nearly 10 years in the event planning industry (she even worked her way through law school at a catering company), and her portfolio includes event planning for Fortune 500 Companies, couples, and organizations. Her goal as a wedding planner and event manager is to ensure flawless styling, design, and execution so that you can relax and enjoy your best day ever!
When Laurel is not planning weddings, she is probably spending time with her amazing husband, sweet daughter (and son on the way!), helping other St. Louis vendors with legal matters, or running. She is currently working towards her goal of running a triathlon on behalf of March of Dimes!

With One Foxy Affair, you get much more than just a decorator or someone to help you make it down the aisle – you get a full service team dedicated to making sure that your wedding day is the best it can be! Having our team on site means that our Lead Planner is able to manage all of the logistical elements of your big day – like first looks, hair and makeup scheduling, bridal party photos, and other special moments – while the rest of the team is able to execute all of your design and decor elements! All of our Team Members are briefed on and familiar with all of the details for your wedding before they even show up on site, which means you can relax knowing that every detail is being competently and graciously managed by industry professionals!
